The aim of the school is to provide the students with an overview of current methodologies and approaches to design and characterize functional inorganic materials with an emphasis on magnetic materials, materials for energy storage and conversion and environmental applications. The school covers the basic principles of advanced synthetic and characterization methods together with an overview of role of inorganic chemistry for circular economy. A special focus will be given to the industrial perspective on advanced inorganic materials with an entire session devoted to industrial research and development.
